Shipment Management

A controlled shipment workflow supported by shipment requests, pallet planning, and barcode scanning verification.

The module is more than a record screen. Pallet management and barcode scanning checks ensure that every shipment is completed with the correct contents. If an operation is interrupted, users can resume where they left off; once completed, the shipment flows directly into the sales warehouse receipt process.

Shipment Management is the operational module in which pallets scheduled for dispatch from the facility warehouse are planned, linked to a request, verified through barcode scanning on the warehouse floor, and transferred to the sales warehouse receipt process with a completed status.

Shipment Management
Shipment Management
The greatest inefficiency in shipment processes begins when work reaches the warehouse floor before the plan is clear. The Shipment Management module plans, verifies and completes shipments from the facility warehouse to the sales warehouse in a single workflow. This clarifies the shipment date…

Start a Shipment Request

Start a Shipment Request

The beginning of the shipment process. The user creates a new shipment record; the system moves this record to the operation list and creates the shipment’s ‘single reference’ record.

Features

  •  Creating a new shipment record
  •  Work schedule based on facilities
  •  Safe start with draft status
  •  Quick access via a list

Creating a new shipment record
The shipment process starts from a single screen and progresses step-by-step to readiness.

Work schedule based on facilities
Each facility manages its own operations; the process automatically clarifies the question, 'Who is shipping from which warehouse?'

Safe start with draft status
The record is created first; the process progresses in a controlled manner until the user defines the plan.

Quick access via a list
Shipment records are visible on the list; the team can follow the same status from the same screen.

Shipment Information

Shipment Information

This stage ensures that the shipment is planned correctly. Critical information such as the date and destination warehouse is confirmed here; a vehicle license plate and notes can be added when required.

Features

  •  Shipment Date Management
  •  Selection of the target warehouse
  •  Vehicle license plate information
  •  Description/Note field

Shipment Date Management
The shipment departure time becomes clear, making shift planning and workload more predictable.

Selection of the target warehouse
The destination for the shipment is clearly defined; shipping to the wrong warehouse is avoided.

Vehicle license plate information
The tracking of what shipment goes where is simplified; coordination is enhanced.

Description/Note field
Operational notes are consolidated in one place; there is no loss of information even if the team changes.

Pallet Planning

Pallet Planning

This stage defines the scope of the shipment. The pallets included in the shipment are clarified; additional pallets can be added or removed as needed.

Features

  •  Adding a pallet
  •  Removing a pallet
  •  Defining the list of pallets to be scanned
  •  Managing changes to the plan

Adding a pallet
Pallets linked to the shipment; the scope of the shipment becomes visible.

Removing a pallet
Pallets can be removed when the plan changes; unnecessary shipping or confusion is prevented.

Defining the list of pallets to be scanned
The system highlights the pallets to be checked for in the shipment from the target list.

Managing changes to the plan
Changes in the warehouse are recorded; the shipment plan remains up-to-date.

Pallet Verification/Scanning

Pallet Verification and Scanning

This stage is the critical control point of the shipment. The pallets are scanned at the warehouse; the risk of missing or incorrect pallets is prevented before it happens.

Features

  •  Barcode/label scanning for verification
  •  Missing pallets are prevented
  •  Incorrect pallet warnings (correct shipment – correct pallet)
  •  The option to pause the operation and continue

Barcode/label scanning for verification
Pallets are scanned to verify that the physical shipment matches the plan, preventing dispatches that appear correct on paper but are incorrect on the warehouse floor.

Missing pallets are prevented
The shipment cannot be closed until every required pallet has been scanned, preserving shipment integrity.

Incorrect pallet warnings (correct shipment – correct pallet)
Users are warned when an incorrect pallet is scanned, preventing shipment mix-ups at the outset.

The option to pause the operation and continue
Registration remains even if the process is paused; users can continue from their last position.

Completion and Handover

Completion and Handover

Once the shipment has been verified, the process is moved to completed status. The shipment is then handed over to the sales warehouse receipt workflow accurately and in full.

Features

  •  Transition to Completed Status
  •  Operational Status Visibility
  •  Ready for the Sales Warehouse Handover Process
  •  Regular Archiving of Shipments

Transition to Completed Status
Shipment closure occurs after scanning and verification; the process is finalized and clear.

Operational Status Visibility
Pending/In Progress/Completed Shipments are segregated; site management becomes easier.

Ready for the Sales Warehouse Handover Process
Shipments reach the sales warehouse in a 'controlled and verified' manner; the receipt step progresses faster.

Regular Archiving of Shipments
Control and inspection can be performed on past shipments; traceability is strengthened.
