Notification Management

The Notification Module is a critical component in the Building Management System (BMS) that provides instant notification of building managers, technical staff and other stakeholders.

It provides fast and effective notification to authorized persons regarding operational processes, maintenance plans, security incidents and energy consumption within the building, thus ensuring that the building management works more efficiently and safely. Notifications are transmitted via different channels such as SMS, e-mail, mobile application and audio/visual warning panels, enabling the authorities to intervene immediately in the incidents.

This module supports operational continuity by informing users in advance during processes such as planned maintenance and routine checks.

Multi-Channel Notification System

It enables notifications to be delivered via different channels such as e-mail, SMS, mobile application or push notification.

Features

  •   Defining Notification Channel
  •   Notification Prioritization
  •   Uninterrupted Communication

Notification Channel Definition
Determines the platforms through which notifications will be sent. Users can choose different communication methods such as SMS, e-mail, mobile application or push notification to ensure that the system delivers information in the most appropriate way for them.

Notification Prioritization
While SMS or voice alerts are preferred for critical incidents, e-mail notifications can be used for situations such as planned maintenance. In this way, the most appropriate communication method is determined according to the importance of each incident, and the effectiveness of notifications is increased.

Uninterrupted Communication
LoRaWAN and other communication protocols provide wide coverage and ensure uninterrupted transmission of data from devices at remote locations. In this way, communication interruptions in building management systems are prevented and instant monitoring is provided.

Notification Management

Notification Management Based on User Role

Notifications are directed only to the relevant departments or individuals, preventing unnecessary notification density.

Features

  •   Defining User Roles
  •   Determining the Scope of Notification
  •   Notifications Requiring Approval

Defining User Roles
Different groups such as technical staff, security team, and building managers are created to ensure that notifications are directed to the right people. In this way, each team only has access to information related to their area of responsibility.

Determining the Scope of Notification
While the maintenance team only receives notifications of malfunctions and maintenance, the security team only receives notifications of security breaches. In this way, unnecessary notifications are prevented and more effective notification management is provided.

Approval Requiring Notifications
Approval processes are defined for situations where approval from the administrator is required in critical events. For example, when the administrator's intervention is required for events such as high energy consumption or security breaches, the system automatically sends an approval request to the authorized person.

Prioritization

Notification Prioritization

Notifications are classified according to their importance and forwarded to the relevant persons.

Features

  •   Flagging Critical Notifications
  •   Scheduled Maintenance and Low Priority Notifications
  •   Notification Categories

Marking Critical Notifications
Emergencies such as fire, gas leakage and unauthorized entry are marked as high priority notifications. In such events, the system immediately informs the authorities with audible and visual warnings.

Planned Maintenance and Low Priority Notifications
Low priority notifications are sent at user-defined time intervals to ensure that operational processes are not interrupted. For example, planned maintenance reminders or routine energy consumption reports are sent at specified time intervals.

Notification Categories
Notifications are divided into categories such as emergency, maintenance planning, energy consumption warnings, etc., helping relevant teams take quick action. Users can filter the notifications they want and focus only on the information that is most important to them.

Warning Systems

Instant Notification and Voice Alert Systems

In case of emergency, announcement systems, sirens or visual warning panels within the building are activated.

Features

  •   Voice Warning and Announcement Systems
  •   Visual Warning Systems
  •   Evacuation Plan Activation

Voice Warning and Announcement Systems
Voice announcement systems are activated in critical situations such as fire, gas leakage or security breach. Emergency announcements provide fast and clear information to building occupants, facilitating safe evacuation.

Visual Warning Systems
Instant warnings are displayed via LED panels in corridors and building entrances. This system offers an alternative security solution for the hearing impaired or people in noisy environments.

Evacuation Plan Activation
In emergencies such as fire, guidance warnings are activated to ensure the safe evacuation of building occupants. Illuminated escape guidance signs and interactive building maps speed up the evacuation process by showing safe exit routes.

Approval Mechanism

Notification Tracking and Approval Mechanism

It tracks who has seen the sent notifications and receives read confirmation for important notifications.

Features

  •   Notification History Record
  •   Read and Approval Tracking
  •   Reporting and Analysis
  •   Notification Logs and Reporting

Notification History Record
All notifications are recorded with date, time and recipient information. This makes it easy to track which notifications were delivered when and to whom.

Reading and Approval Tracking
Tracks who has viewed critical notifications and which notifications have been intervened in. In emergency situations, it is verified that relevant people have received notifications on time, ensuring that processes proceed uninterruptedly.

Reporting and Analysis
Past notifications are analyzed to provide improvement suggestions for more efficient management of building operations. Data such as notification density, response times and intervention effectiveness are evaluated to help optimize processes.

Notification Logs and Reporting
All notifications are recorded and enable retrospective analysis. With these logs, system performance and notification management processes can be evaluated and necessary updates can be planned.
